We are currently seeking a dynamic and technically inclined Systems Support / Network Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining our robust network infrastructure, providing top-tier technical support, and ensuring the uninterrupted daily operation of our corporate IT systems within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive technical support and resolve hardware, software, and network challenges efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain essential IT equipment including computers, printers, routers, and switches.
- Monitor and optimize network connectivity across LAN, WAN, and enterprise Wi-Fi environments.
- Perform critical system updates, routine data backups, security audits, and user account management.
- Diagnose and remediate system performance bottlenecks to guarantee optimal uptime.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT asset inventories, documentation, and vendor service records.
- Deliver friendly, professional technical assistance and guidance to internal company staff members.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Networking, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and standard business productivity software.
- Working knowledge of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with networking hardware configuration including switches and wireless access points.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA represent a distinct advantage.
