Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Physics and/or Chemistry to secondary school students following the approved curriculum.
- Simplify complex scientific concepts to ensure clear understanding and retention for learners of varying abilities.
- Conduct regular practical demonstrations and supervise laboratory-based experiments safely and effectively.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain a disciplined, orderly, and positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to plan school events, science fairs, and curriculum enhancements.
- Possession of an NCE, B.Sc., B.Ed., or equivalent qualification in Physics, Chemistry, or a related science discipline.
- Proven professional experience teaching Physics and Chemistry at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of subject matter with the ability to design stimulating lesson plans.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
