About the Role
Sayed Farms Limited, a leading poultry and frozen food distribution company operating across Nigeria since 2004, is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Officer to strengthen our Human Resources team. This role is critical to our growth strategy, supporting recruitment activities from workforce planning through successful onboarding across our Ibadan and Abuja operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for multiple positions across all departments
- Source and screen qualified candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, recruitment agencies, and professional networks
- Conduct pre-screening interviews and coordinate technical assessments with hiring managers
- Coordinate background checks, reference verification, and pre-employment screening activities
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for critical and recurring positions
- Support employer branding initiatives including career fairs, university partnerships, and employee referral programmes
- Track recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rates
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and approved budgets
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide regular reporting to management
- Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for newly hired employees
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Human Resources
- Demonstrated success recruiting both professional and operational-level employees
- Proficiency with LinkedIn, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and recruitment best practices
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- Experience in fast-paced, operationally intensive industries (manufacturing, FMCG, agro-allied, poultry) is advantageous
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is a plus
