About the Role
KolaDaisi University (KDU), a prestigious private institution licensed by the National Universities Commission, is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled professional for the position of System Analyst I. Founded by Chief Kola Daisi, CON, the university is dedicated to academic excellence, innovation, and national development through quality education and robust technological infrastructure. We are looking for an ICT expert to help maintain, optimize, and secure our institutional systems, ensuring seamless digital operations for staff and students alike.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze existing institutional software and hardware systems to identify areas for efficiency and technological enhancement.
- Design, develop, and implement robust IT solutions and database systems tailored to university operations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues across campus departments.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative units to gather system requirements and deploy scalable technological applications.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and backup of university data in compliance with institutional policies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system processes, network architectures, and user manuals.
- Possession of a Bachelor Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of six (6) years of cognate working experience in system analysis or IT infrastructure management.
- Relevant professional certifications and active memberships in recognized bodies (e.g., CSS, JavaScript, PCAP, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic academic environment.
- Competitive remuneration package based on the KDUNTSS 08 salary scale, comparable to Federal Universities in Nigeria.
