About the Role
Peaceville International Academy, a premier British curriculum institution committed to holistic student success, is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Swimming Lifeguard to join our vibrant school community. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe, secure, and enjoyable aquatic environment for our students while supporting our rigorous standards of student well-being and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain constant surveillance of students and visitors in and around the swimming pool area to prevent accidents and ensure adherence to safety rules.
- Respond promptly, professionally, and effectively to water rescues, medical emergencies, and first aid situations as required.
- Perform regular checks of the swimming pool facilities, equipment, and water safety gear, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Enforce all facility rules and regulations consistently and fairly among students, staff, and guests.
- Assist in organizing and supervising swimming lessons, school galas, and extracurricular aquatic activities in collaboration with faculty members.
- Contribute actively to the boarding school culture by fostering a supportive, positive, and safe environment for all learners.
- Possession of relevant professional lifeguard certifications and valid CPR/First Aid credentials.
- Proven professional experience working as a lifeguard, preferably within a school, resort, or recreational sports facility.
- Demonstrated passion for education, child safety, and holistic student development within a structured academic setting.
- Strong commitment to upholding the values and culture of a prestigious boarding school environment.
- Excellent communication, observational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
