In this pivotal role, you will drive operational excellence, optimize supply chain costs, and lead a high-performing procurement team to support our ambitious regional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Procurement Manager in developing and implementing strategic sourcing policies, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate the analysis of current and future procurement requirements to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead Request for Proposals (RFP) processes, evaluate supplier responses, and negotiate competitive pricing and favorable long-term contracts.
  • Monitor team workload and capacity to enforce short turnaround times for processing requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Manage key supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance in cost, service quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate supply chain, currency, logistics, and ESG risks to safeguard business continuity.
  • Ensure delivered goods strictly conform to order specifications and maintain compliance with Quality, Food Safety, Environment, Health, and Safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional procurement experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of demonstrated team-lead experience, including direct supervision and mentoring of procurement staff.
  • Strong proficiency in vendor negotiation, contract management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills tailored for a fast-paced industrial environment.
