About the Role
R-DATS Consulting is a leading research, evaluation, and statistical services firm dedicated to generating evidence for impactful policy decisions. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Survey Data Analyst (NYSC) Intern to join our growing team in Abuja for the duration of their National Youth Service Corps year. This internship offers hands-on experience in quantitative and qualitative research, data management, and project monitoring within a professional consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in conducting baseline, impact evaluation, and mid-term research activities.
- Support the drafting of data collection tools and ensure strict adherence to data quality protocols.
- Participate in data collection, entry, validation, cleaning, basic analysis, and visualization.
- Contribute to the development of research reports, success stories, and communication materials.
- Assist in identifying project bottlenecks and supporting timely proposal and EOI developments.
- BSc or HND in Statistics, Social Sciences, Public Health, Public Policy, International Development, or a related field.
- Must be a current NYSC Corps member deployed to Abuja or seeking redeployment.
- Strong quantitative skills and familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS, Stata, R, Power BI, or ODK are preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Extensive hands-on experience in survey design, data management, and research consulting.
