About the Role
Ikeja Electricity Distribution Plc (Ikeja Electric), Nigeria's largest power distribution network, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Surveillance Operator to join our dynamic Enterprise Security team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC), ensuring a robust 24/7 security posture while driving continuous improvements in our security processes and technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze video surveillance feeds, telemetry data, and security events to detect anomalies and potential threats.
- Ensure PSOC compliance with relevant industry security standards, regulations, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinate incident response activities, manage physical security systems, and ensure timely equipment maintenance.
- Develop comprehensive security metrics, dashboards, and formal reports for key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to security team members and outsourced partners.
- Implement health and safety protocols, ensuring all workplace incidents and hazards are promptly addressed.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a science or security-related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant security operations experience.
- Relevant professional security certifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong technical proficiency in security systems management and MS Office tools.
