About the Role
Robert Walters is a global specialist professional recruitment consultancy partnering with a leading manufacturing and FMCG client to hire a strategic and experienced Head of Security. In this crucial leadership role, you will provide comprehensive oversight for physical security operations across the Group's manufacturing plants, distribution centers, warehouses, and corporate offices nationwide. You will be responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide security strategies, policies, and governance frameworks to safeguard our client's people, assets, facilities, products, and reputation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Group's physical security strategy aligned with overarching organizational objectives and growth goals.
- Lead and manage comprehensive security operations across multiple locations nationwide, including manufacturing plants, warehouses, and corporate offices.
- Establish robust security policies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks to ensure consistent implementation across all business units.
- Serve as the primary security advisor to executive leadership on security risks, emerging threats, regulatory compliance, and effective mitigation strategies.
- Conduct thorough security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and audits across all business operations to proactively protect critical infrastructure.
- Oversee emergency response planning, crisis management, and investigations involving security breaches or asset loss.
- Bachelor Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Military Studies, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional security certifications will be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in physical security management, with significant leadership responsibilities within a complex organization.
- Proven expertise leading security operations across multiple locations within a large FMCG, supply chain, or manufacturing organization.
- Demonstrated experience operating at a senior management level, preferably at General Manager or Assistant General Manager level.
