About the Role
Join IOTA Group, a leading Swiss HR and project management solutions provider with 27 years of international expertise. We're seeking a skilled Surf Planning & Reporting Engineer to support our operations in Nigeria. You'll play a critical role in managing complex, multi-disciplinary project schedules and providing strategic insights to stakeholders across the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules across all levels (1-4), including WBS structure definition and milestone identification
- Consolidate schedules from multiple disciplines and contractors, identifying critical paths and delay risks
- Collect and analyze physical progress data weekly, updating forecasts and identifying variance causes
- Prepare comprehensive periodic reports (weekly/monthly) covering planning progress, key milestones, KPIs, and critical alerts
- Deliver integrated reporting to project management, LBU leadership, and partner organizations
- Collaborate closely with Project Control, technical teams, EPC contractors, and project management offices
- Participate in planning, coordination, and review meetings
- Apply and continuously improve project planning procedures, standards, and tools
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in oil and gas multi-disciplinary project execution
- Minimum 10 years of planning and reporting experience on EPC contract projects
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
- Strong Power BI or business intelligence tools expertise
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
- Proactive mindset with constructive critical thinking capabilities
- Fluency in English required
