About the Role

Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE, a global humanitarian organization committed to ending world hunger, works to save the lives of malnourished children while providing communities with safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supply Officer to join our team in Nigeria to drive efficient supply chain operations and support our vital humanitarian mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage purchase orders and process procurement according to ACF procedures, including direct purchases and tender processes.
  • Carry out requests for quotations, prepare necessary delivery documents, and organise transparent monitoring of goods.
  • Ensure constructive business relations with suppliers, prospect for new vendors, and update monthly price and supplier lists.
  • Check and validate invoices, coordinate supplier payments with the finance department, and ensure adherence to safeguarding policies.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing materials, conduct monthly inventory checks, and maintain accurate stock records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
  • Good knowledge of procurement and supply chain management best practices, with familiarity in the LINK tool being an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with excellent organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in demanding environments.
