About the Role
Oilserv Limited is a leading provider of integrated engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) services and complementary solutions across the asset and program life cycle within the onshore, offshore and subsea market segments of the oil and gas sector. We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Material Inspector to join our dynamic QA/QC team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Complying with and enforcing the requirements of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015/14001:2015/45001:2018).
- Conduct inspection of materials including structural steel, piping, fittings, equipment, welding electrodes, electrical and instrumentation items, and painting in reference to international standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Inspect the transporting, storing, and loading of materials by applying knowledge of material-handling procedures and issuing Nonconformance Reports (NCR) when applicable.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients for required inspection and testing acceptance.
- Perform pre-planned periodic and random audits to measure the overall effectiveness of the Quality Assurance program on material storage.
- Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards by using relevant information and individual judgment.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Engineering or a Science-related course.
- Relevant professional QA/QC certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the oil and gas or EPCIC industry.
- In-depth knowledge of international engineering standards, codes, and fabrication drawings.
