About the Role
Pullus Africa Solutions Ltd is Africa's pioneering poultry-focused supply chain platform, leveraging technology to boost local production and empower farmers with guaranteed markets, finance, quality inputs, and advisory services. We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Supply Chain Manager to ensure the seamless flow of agricultural inputs and poultry products across our extensive farmer and customer network in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee logistics, inventory, and distribution to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and scale our operations sustainably.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Logistics Officers to efficiently coordinate farm pickups, processing schedules, and timely customer deliveries.
- Negotiate strategic contracts and manage relationships with third-party transport providers to optimize distribution costs per kilogram.
- Oversee Inventory Officers to maintain highly accurate real-time stock records, reconciling farm collections, processing outputs, and dispatches.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to align customer purchase orders with available inventory and production cycles.
- Partner with Procurement and Extension teams to ensure smooth and timely input flows to partner farmers.
- Utilize advanced ERP systems and digital dashboards to track inventory movements, operational KPIs, and generate management reports.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks including logistical delays, stock shortages, and transport breakdowns.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality compliance standards throughout storage handovers and transportation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (a Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage).
- 7 to 10 years of progressive professional experience in supply chain leadership, ideally within the agribusiness or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors in Nigeria.
- Proven expertise in cold chain management, agricultural value chains, procurement, and logistics optimization.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing modern ERP platforms, digital inventory tools, and supply chain financial models.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, stakeholder negotiation, and cross-functional team leadership skills.
