About the Role
KPMG, one of the prestigious Big Four professional services firms, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Supplier & Vendor Management Support Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting supplier onboarding, vendor coordination, and performance activities to ensure seamless supply chain delivery for our esteemed clients, particularly within the energy and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating end-to-end supplier onboarding, qualification, and registration activities
- Maintaining accurate supplier master data and vendor records within enterprise systems
- Facilitating day-to-day engagement with suppliers to support uninterrupted service delivery
- Monitoring supplier compliance requirements, certifications, and documentation completeness
- Supporting supplier performance monitoring, evaluation, and regular review activities
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to streamline supplier service delivery and operations
- Tracking vendor-related issues and ensuring timely resolution and proper escalation
- Generating comprehensive supplier governance and vendor management reports
- Participating in risk management and continuous supply chain improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) GPA
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in supplier management, procurement, vendor administration, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency in enterprise systems (ERP/SCM), with procurement analytics tools or Power BI as an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
- Relevant professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or Six Sigma will be an added advantage
- Prior experience working in oil and gas, energy, or large industrial environments is preferred
