About the Role
American Tower enables partners and communities to stay connected globally through critical digital infrastructure and communications real estate solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Supplier Performance Manager to join our Supply Chain Management organization in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will champion supplier excellence by monitoring performance, ensuring rigorous contract compliance, managing risk, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across our strategic vendor base.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and key performance indicators aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and lead corrective action plans with key suppliers.
- Monitor and communicate supplier adherence to contractual terms, service level agreements, and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Environmental Health and Safety teams to mitigate risks and resolve compliance issues.
- Assess the financial stability, risk exposure, and cybersecurity frameworks of critical vendors using Third-Party Risk Management tools.
- Prepare executive-level dashboards and provide regular performance updates to internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supplier management, sourcing, or procurement.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract management, risk mitigation, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in supplier management platforms such as SAP Ariba or Coupa.
- Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean methodologies are a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
