We are currently looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Commercial Manager with a strong background in quantity surveying and procurement to oversee our commercial operations, optimize profit margins, and drive financial excellence across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead commercial functions and financial strategies across large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Manage the complete commercial lifecycle, including bidding, tendering, negotiation, execution, and project close-out.
- Implement rigorous cost control frameworks, value engineering, and procurement strategies to achieve target profit margins.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while overseeing claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
- Define and execute comprehensive supply chain and procurement strategies to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Provide data-driven insights to executive leadership regarding pricing, contract structuring, risk positioning, and P&L performance.
- Mentor, develop, and guide junior quantity surveying and commercial team members while maintaining compliance with governance and HSE standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline; a Master's degree (MBA/MSc) is an advantage.
- Mandatory professional membership with QSRBN, alongside recognized affiliations such as NIQS, RICS, or CIOB.
- 12 to 18 years of progressive commercial management and quantity surveying experience within the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sector.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership capacity with direct P&L accountability and a track record of delivering high profit margins.
- Advanced expertise in contract administration (FIDIC, NEC), commercial risk management, cost estimation, and strategic procurement.
