About the Role
Royal Farms Integrated Products Limited, a leading Nigerian agribusiness and food distribution company headquartered in Aba, Abia State, is seeking a proactive and skilled Supervisor / Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic operations team. Established in 2014, we specialize in large-scale supply, cold storage, and logistics of premium agro-allied commodities nationwide. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining our facilities, supervising operational workflows, and ensuring that our cold storage and distribution equipment function at peak efficiency to support our nationwide supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily facility operations and coordinate maintenance schedules for cold storage units, machinery, and logistics equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of infrastructure and production facilities to identify and resolve potential mechanical or electrical issues promptly.
- Manage maintenance inventory, spare parts, and tools required for routine servicing and emergency repairs.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all operational areas.
- Supervise junior technical staff, maintenance personnel, and third-party contractors to guarantee high standards of work.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair costs.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to minimize downtime and optimize supply chain productivity.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a maintenance officer, supervisor, or similar technical role, preferably within the agribusiness, manufacturing, or cold storage sector.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Residency in Aba or willingness to resume work promptly in Abia State.
