About the Role
VerdantLayer Ltd, in partnership with EES Tech Limited, is seeking passionate and experienced Subject Tutors to deliver on-camera video lessons for Nigerian secondary school students (JSS1 to SS3). This flexible, contract-based opportunity allows educators to share their expertise, help thousands of students prepare for BECE, WAEC, and NECO examinations, and earn competitive fees while maintaining their current employment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive lesson scripts and outlines for assigned subjects and class levels using provided EES templates.
- Collaborate with the Head of Department to review and approve scripts prior to studio production.
- Deliver engaging lessons on camera at our Lagos studio during scheduled sessions, supported by a professional production team.
- Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions requested by the quality review team.
- Ensure timely delivery of the full assigned lesson set according to the agreed project schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Arts, Humanities, Commercial Government, History, Civic Education, or a related field (B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A or higher).
- Minimum of 3 years of secondary school teaching experience with proven expertise in BECE, WAEC, or NECO preparation.
- Thorough understanding of the NERDC curriculum and subject examination syllabi.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in spoken English.
- Strong on-camera or classroom presentation skills, with a willingness to receive coaching for video delivery.
