Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons in accordance with the approved school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment that encourages active student participation and critical thinking.
- Design and administer quizzes, tests, and examinations to fairly evaluate student comprehension and academic performance.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, staff training sessions, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Mentor and guide students, helping them develop effective problem-solving skills and a lasting appreciation for mathematics.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed), or a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience in a reputable primary or secondary school setting is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Strong command of the English language and the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts with clarity and patience.
- Valid teaching certification or professional registration with relevant educational bodies will be an added advantage.
