About the Role
ArkBridge Integrated Limited is one of the leading real estate development firms in the Lagos-Ogun Megacity axis, renowned for crafting exceptional sustainable communities. We are currently looking for a motivated Structural Engineer (NYSC Intern) to support our engineering team with structural design, analysis, and execution across our premier residential and commercial projects. This onsite opportunity provides a platform for fresh graduates to gain valuable industry experience while working Monday through Friday, excluding CDS days.
Key Responsibilities- Assist structural engineers with the design and analysis of reinforced concrete, steel, and other structural elements.
- Support the preparation and review of structural drawings, calculations, schedules, and technical documents.
- Participate in site inspections to monitor structural works and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
- Observe and support reinforcement, formwork, concrete, steelwork, and other construction activities.
- Take measurements, assist with quantity take-offs, and help identify construction discrepancies.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project team members during site meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and technical observations.
- Recent NYSC member with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Good understanding of structural engineering principles and construction practices.
- Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or Revit is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work on construction sites and adapt to a practical, hands-on environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices on site.
- Practical exposure to large-scale structural construction and site operations.
- Direct mentorship from experienced structural and civil engineers.
- Hands-on understanding of quality control, concreting, and steelwork.
