About the Role
Daiik Engineering Ltd, a diversified leader in multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and oil and gas services, is seeking a skilled Offshore FPSO Life Extension Engineer. Based at our Port Harcourt facility, this full-time, on-site role offers a dynamic opportunity to extend the operational lifespan of critical offshore energy assets while ensuring uncompromised safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement comprehensive integrity and life extension strategies for FPSO structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Conduct rigorous technical inspections, reliability assessments, and engineering studies for aging equipment and hull structures.
- Review and update maintenance and inspection plans while preparing design calculations, technical reports, and modification proposals.
- Develop upgrade and refurbishment scopes fully compliant with applicable offshore, classification society, and international safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, vendors, and clients to troubleshoot technical issues and execute life extension projects seamlessly.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Marine, Structural, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong background in FPSO and offshore engineering, including asset integrity management and regulatory compliance.
- Proven expertise in evaluating rotating equipment, piping systems, hull structures, and corrosion protection strategies.
- Familiarity with offshore electrical and instrumentation systems, power distribution, and safety control networks.
- Exceptional analytical, project coordination, HSE compliance, and stakeholder communication skills.
