About the Role
ArkBridge Integrated Limited is one of the leading real estate development firms in the Lagos-Ogun Megacity axis, renowned for crafting exceptional communities and delivering premium residential solutions. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Structural Engineer (NYSC Intern) to support our engineering team in the design, analysis, and execution of innovative structural works.
Key Responsibilities- Assist structural engineers with the design and analysis of reinforced concrete and steel structural elements.
- Support the preparation and review of structural drawings, calculations, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor structural works and ensure strict compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Observe and support reinforcement, formwork, concreting, steelwork, and other vital construction activities.
- Take accurate measurements, assist with quantity take-offs, and participate in material estimations.
- Help identify and report structural defects, construction discrepancies, and quality control issues promptly.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project team members during site meetings.
- Maintain precise records of site activities, inspections, and technical observations.
- Currently serving or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and modern construction practices.
- Familiarity with structural drawings and engineering documentation.
- Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or Revit is a strong advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, hands-on construction site environment.
- Good communication, teamwork, and commitment to health and safety standards.
