About the Role
Sageto Limited is a premier private limited liability engineering construction company dedicated to delivering exceptional building, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering services across Nigeria. We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead the structural design, analysis, and supervision of our ambitious high-rise building projects, ensuring absolute safety, structural integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Design and analyze complex reinforced concrete and steel structures specifically for high-rise developments.
- Prepare accurate structural calculations, comprehensive drawings, detailed specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate seamlessly with architects, MEP engineers, geotechnical consultants, and diverse project teams.
- Conduct rigorous site inspections and monitor ongoing construction to guarantee strict compliance with approved designs.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and various contractor submissions thoroughly.
- Ensure all project phases comply fully with the Nigerian Building Codes and relevant international engineering standards.
- Provide expert technical support and resolve intricate structural issues throughout the complete project lifecycle.
- Participate actively in value engineering exercises and comprehensive risk assessment activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, backed by a strong, verifiable portfolio of completed high-rise building projects.
- Mandatory professional registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
- Demonstrated proficiency in industry-standard structural analysis and design software.
