About the Role
Venus Finance is on a mission to revolutionize financial systems across Africa by providing accessible loans and profitable investment opportunities. We are currently looking for a dynamic Strategy & Operations Manager to provide high-level operational, analytical, and strategic support to the Managing Director. In this pivotal role, you will act as the crucial coordination hub between Management, Operations, Credit, Finance, Compliance, and Business Development, translating executive decisions into measurable, high-impact actions.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives, executive decisions, and action plans assigned by the Managing Director to ensure timely execution across the organization.
- Prepare high-quality executive reports, presentations, briefing notes, and management dashboards for the Board and senior leadership.
- Drive cross-functional projects by tracking implementation timelines, fostering departmental collaboration, and resolving execution bottlenecks.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor research to support strategic planning, business growth, and innovative product development.
- Review and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and governance across all business units.
- Manage executive meetings, document resolutions, and rigorously follow up on agreed action items to maintain organizational alignment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Possession of an MBA or relevant professional certification will be a distinct advantage.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, executive support, or financial services.
- Prior working experience within a regulated Nigerian financial institution is strongly preferred.
