We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Risk Manager to join our team in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will safeguard our operations, reputation, and financial performance by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential threats. You will ensure the seamless implementation of our Enterprise Risk Management framework while fostering a robust risk-aware culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, policies, and controls.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational, financial, reputational, and strategic risks impacting the organization.
- Provide expert strategic risk advisory support to executive management and business leaders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk registers, risk assessment methodologies, and detailed reporting frameworks.
- Ensure strict alignment with business objectives, industry best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Drive organization-wide risk management initiatives and promote a proactive risk culture.
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to manage cross-functional risk exposures effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CRM, CRISC, CIA, ACCA, CISA, or other relevant risk management credentials.
- 7 to 10 years of robust experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or ERM, preferably within manufacturing or pharmaceuticals.
- Comprehensive knowledge of COSO and ISO 31000 ERM frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, professional judgment, and stakeholder management expertise.
