About the Role
Uniccon Group is dedicated to building Africa's economy through innovative technology solutions, and we are currently looking for a dynamic Operations Manager with Business Development Responsibilities to scale our telemedicine and digital health initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will combine operational excellence with commercial growth strategies to expand our market presence and deliver exceptional digital healthcare services across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily digital platform operations, enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), and coordinate cross-functional teams including medical professionals, support staff, IT, and administration.
- Formulate and execute growth strategies to acquire new users and expand market share across digital health, corporate wellness, and insurance sectors.
- Build relationships and secure commercial contracts with hospitals, clinics, HMOs, pharmacies, diagnostic centers, and corporate employers while managing key accounts for retention and upselling.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design customer acquisition campaigns and deliver regular operational and revenue performance reports to executive management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field (Postgraduate degree or healthcare management certifications preferred).
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in operations and business development, with a preferred background in telemedicine, health-tech, digital health, HMOs, or hospital administration.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, contract negotiation, proposal development, financial oversight, and client relationship management.
- Strong operational planning, multidisciplinary team management, commercial acumen, and analytical problem-solving skills.
