About the Role
Welcome2Africa International is a leading trade and investment facilitation company focused on Nigeria's agricultural and maritime sectors, supporting stakeholders across Africa and globally. We are seeking a dynamic Strategic Finance Lead based in Abuja to partner with our Group CEO in managing the financial operations, capital structures, and multi-entity growth of our expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities- Set the group financial strategy and translate it into actionable budgets, targets, and capital plans for each entity.
- Build a consolidated financial view with rolling forecasts and cash-flow models anticipating trade-cycle demands.
- Manage group debts, liabilities, creditor relationships, and transition funding toward institutional capital.
- Validate margins and commercial terms prior to executing any trade transaction or mandate.
- Support investor relations by preparing financial materials, responding to due diligence, and reporting to shareholders.
- Produce monthly management accounts and concise financial reports for the Group CEO and Board.
- Design robust financial controls for multi-entity operations, revenue assurance, and grant accounting.
- Lead and develop the Strategic Finance Officer while managing external relationships with auditors and banks.
- Professional accounting or finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent) with substantial strategic finance experience.
- Strong financial modelling skills with proven experience supporting capital raises or investor due diligence.
- Background in multi-entity or cross-border businesses, with commodity trade or trade finance exposure being a strong advantage.
