About the Role
Strivo Labs is a dynamic digital solutions provider helping businesses scale through custom design, automation, and MVP development. We are looking for a dedicated Junior Accountant to join our finance team, maintain precise financial records, and support our overall business operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and daily accounting entries.
- Prepare, review, and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Track operational expenses and ensure compliance with proper documentation standards.
- Support payroll processing and handle statutory tax payments.
- Monitor budgets, identify financial discrepancies, and report them promptly.
- Liaise professionally with vendors, clients, banks, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven accounting and financial experience.
- Must reside in Oshodi or its immediate environs for convenient daily commuting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical skills.
- Professional accounting certification or active progress toward ICAN or ACCA is an advantage.
