About the Role
Strivo Labs is a fast-growing digital solutions agency dedicated to helping businesses scale with speed and precision, offering everything from custom software development to comprehensive digital automation. We are currently looking for a talented and meticulous Accountant to join our dynamic team in Lagos. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting activities, and ensuring the fiscal health of our organization as we continue to expand our innovative service offerings.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, accounting entries, and general ledger transactions.
- Prepare and review invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other essential financial documentation.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently to optimize company cash flow.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor day-to-day cash flow movements.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Track operational expenses and ensure strict compliance with internal controls.
- Support payroll processing and oversee statutory tax remittances.
- Liaise professionally with vendors, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing accurate financial documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven professional accounting experience.
- Must reside within Oshodi, Lagos or its immediate environs for convenient daily commuting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software.
- Deep understanding of Nigerian tax regulations, statutory payments, and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Professional accounting certification or active part-qualification (such as ICAN or ACCA) is a distinct advantage.
