We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and reliable Stores Controller to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring operational efficiency, and safeguarding company assets through meticulous record-keeping and proactive stock management.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, spare parts, and consumables against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, inventory registers, and documentation systems.
- Issue materials promptly and accurately based on authorized and approved requisition requests.
- Monitor stock thresholds closely and initiate timely replenishment processes to prevent stockouts or operational delays.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical stock audits, reconciling any discrepancies with system records.
- Ensure the warehouse and storage facilities are organized, secure, and compliant with safety standards.
- Minimum of a B.Sc., HND, or OND in Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven relevant experience in stores management, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various internal departments.
