In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and maintaining accurate stock records to support seamless business activities. Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, supplies, and materials against purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date physical and digital inventory records using basic stock management systems.
- Conduct regular stock counts and physical audits to reconcile discrepancies and prevent shrinkage.
- Organize and optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage, retrieval, and safety compliance.
- Issue and distribute materials to authorized personnel while documenting all stock movements accurately.
- Report damaged, expired, or missing items promptly to management and assist with resolution processes.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven professional experience working as a storekeeper, inventory clerk, or in a similar warehouse role.
- Familiarity with basic inventory management activities, stock control principles, and record-keeping practices.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to use standard office software and inventory tracking tools.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various internal teams.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical lifting as required in a warehouse setting.
- Competitive monthly salary of N70,000.
