About the Role
Oilserv Limited is a leading provider of integrated engineering, procurement, construction, installation & commissioning (EPCIC) services across the oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our supply chain team and support critical project operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Procure project indirect and minor materials as directed, ensuring compliance with specifications and company policies.
- Process Purchase Requisitions (PRs), verify prices, analyze quotes using GEP, and obtain relevant approvals before ordering in SAP.
- Prepare proposals, request quotes, negotiate purchase terms and conditions, and establish frame agreements with suppliers.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives to manage and reduce supply chain and logistics operational costs.
- Ensure timely submission of procurement packages requiring Supply Chain Governance Board (SCGB) approval.
- Provide procurement support for Oilserv bids and tenders, including participation in bid reviews and evaluations.
- Research and identify prospective local and foreign suppliers while analyzing industry and demand trends.
- Liaise with expeditors and clearing officers to track shipments, process Form M, secure PAAR, and manage letters of credit with banks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate electronic reports on local and foreign procurement activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Professional membership in the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) with completed levels 4-5.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a procurement function, preferably within the oil and gas or engineering sector.
- Proficiency in SAP, GEP, and other enterprise procurement tools.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
