Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and log all incoming goods, supplies, and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to purchase orders and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital inventory records using modern hotel management software.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical stock audits to minimize discrepancies, shrinkage, and waste.
- Issue stock items to various hotel departments promptly upon authorized requisition.
- Manage storage facilities effectively, ensuring cleanliness, proper organization, and adherence to safety and health regulations.
- Monitor stock thresholds and generate timely purchase requisitions to prevent stockouts of critical hospitality supplies.
- Collaborate closely with the procurement and accounting teams to reconcile invoices and delivery notes.
- Minimum of a Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Accounting, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, or Warehouse Officer, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and maintain high integrity in stock handling.
