Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the security team to ensure strict compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective security protocols and emergency response plans to protect personnel, property, and assets.
- Conduct regular security inspections, patrols, and audits across facilities to identify and address potential vulnerabilities proactively.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies, coordinating appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate security staff performance to promote a consistently high level of efficiency, discipline, and professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with management and other departments to assess ongoing security needs and formulate comprehensive safety strategies.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs and prepare detailed incident reports regarding all security activities and investigations.
- Proven professional experience working as a Security Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the security industry.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a proven ability to motivate, guide, and discipline security personnel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern security protocols, emergency response procedures, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional ability to remain calm, think clearly, and make sound decisions under high-pressure situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff, management, clients, and external stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail with strong observational skills to accurately identify potential security risks.
- Possession of relevant security certifications, licenses, and mandatory residency in Awka, Anambra State.
