About the Role

We are currently seeking a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to oversee the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of essential hospital supplies and consumables. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our medical teams have continuous access to the materials they need to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming hospital supplies, verifying that quantities and specifications match approved purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Maintain meticulous digital and physical records of all inventory received, issued, transferred, and remaining in stock.
- Properly organize, label, and store all items in the warehouse to ensure rapid identification and seamless accessibility.
- Monitor stock levels continuously and promptly alert the appropriate supervisor when replenishment is required.
- Issue supplies efficiently to various hospital departments based on duly authorized requisitions.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory management records.
- Manage product lifecycles by monitoring expiry dates and enforcing strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO inventory rotation practices.
- Identify, document, and report damaged, expired, missing, or obsolete items immediately.
- Ensure the store room remains clean, secure, and fully compliant with health and safety standards.
- Prepare comprehensive inventory reports and assist internal and external audit teams as needed.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or logistics, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Solid understanding of modern stock control procedures and supply chain best practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory management software systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and advanced organizational skills.
