About the Role
Zoe's Kitchen & Grill, a premier dining and lounge destination in Asaba, Delta State, is looking for a dedicated and organized Storekeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining smooth daily operations by overseeing inventory, managing stock levels, and ensuring all kitchen and bar supplies are accurately tracked and stored.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming food, beverage, and non-food supplies against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO method) to minimize waste and spoilage.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile stock levels with management records.
- Issue and distribute stock to the kitchen and bar departments based on approved requisitions.
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly report low stock items to prevent operational shortages.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the storage facilities.
- Minimum of SSCE or relevant academic qualification in a related field.
- Proven experience working as a storekeeper, inventory clerk, or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills and a professional, well-groomed appearance.
- Immaculate personal hygiene standards and strict adherence to food safety protocols.
- High level of reliability, honesty, and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings.
