About the Role
The Place Restaurant, part of The Smackers Limited family since 2006, is a premier food services and hospitality establishment committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. We're recruiting a skilled Storekeeper to join our dynamic team and ensure seamless warehouse and inventory operations across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage daily store operations, including receiving, identifying, and verifying merchandise
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and prepare purchase requisitions
- Handle specialized products requiring knowledge of storage conditions, safety protocols, and product integrity
- Arrange and organize stock according to established procedures and replace outdated items
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including invoices, order numbers, receiving and shipping dates
- Verify ledgers, statements, and supporting financial documents
- Coordinate merchandise delivery schedules and manage special deliveries
- Keep detailed records of all items shipped, received, or transferred
- Communicate inventory status to procurement team to prevent stockouts
- Maintain equipment and ensure cleanliness of work areas
- OND (Ordinary National Diploma) from a recognized institution
- Proficiency in data entry and inventory management software
- Strong report writing and basic computer skills
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail abilities
- High level of integrity and reliability
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
