About the Role
Adventure Capital Group is a dynamic venture capital investor focused on accelerating innovative entrepreneurial companies, with key activities spanning consulting and Nigeria's thriving FinTech sector. We are currently seeking a responsible, organised, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our company store. In this role, you will play a crucial part in receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of our supplies, equipment, and inventory to support our growing business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods, supplies, and equipment against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Properly arrange and store items to ensure optimal safety, easy identification, and accessibility.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital records of all stock received and issued.
- Issue items promptly to authorised employees and departments based on approved requests.
- Monitor stock levels continuously and notify management proactively when items require replenishment.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
- Investigate and report any damages, shortages, or expired items immediately.
- Ensure the store environment remains clean, secure, and properly organised at all times.
- Support procurement activities by providing accurate data on stock requirements and inventory thresholds.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in storekeeping, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory management software tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organisational skills.
