About the Role
Whip Smart Service Providers Limited is looking for a driven and results-oriented Investment and Wealth Manager to join our growing team in Lagos. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and expanding a robust portfolio of high-net-worth and retail clients. You will leverage your strong sales expertise to market diverse investment products, ensure strategic portfolio monitoring, and consistently grow our Assets Under Management on a yearly basis.
Key Responsibilities- Acquire new clients through active sales, strategic networking, and referrals to expand our investment client base.
- Market and sell a wide range of investment products including mutual funds, fixed income, equities, and alternative investments.
- Build and manage long-term client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for financial advisory.
- Monitor and manage client investment portfolios in alignment with individual risk profiles and financial goals.
- Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and yearly AUM growth objectives.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, onboarding standards, KYC, and AML policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless client service and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of proven experience in investment sales, wealth management, or client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian and global financial markets, portfolio management, and investment strategies.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CIS, or an active SEC license will be a strong added advantage.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills with high ethical standards.
