About the Role

Givanas Group of Companies is a leading manufacturer and distributor of fast-moving consumer goods in Nigeria, dedicated to delivering quality products like milk, tea, canned seafood, and bath soaps to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Store Officer & Warehouse Assistant to oversee inventory control, material receiving, and warehouse operations for our ongoing Margarine Manufacturing Plant Project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming project materials and equipment against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Prepare accurate Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and maintain meticulous inventory records for complete material traceability.
  • Ensure the proper physical storage, handling, and preservation of all materials and equipment to prevent damage or loss.
  • Control material issuance processes and maintain appropriate documentation for all stock movements.
  • Conduct regular stock verification, physical counting, and periodic reconciliation.
  • Monitor minimum stock thresholds for essential operational consumables.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Construction, and Project teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Maintain high standards of warehouse safety, cleanliness, and overall housekeeping.
  • Prepare comprehensive periodic inventory and stock reports for management review.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or ND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of proven professional experience in warehouse management or industrial project store operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, documentation, and material-handling techniques.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Prior working experience within an industrial or manufacturing project environment is strongly preferred.
