About the Role
Genesis Group, a premier Nigerian catering, hospitality, and entertainment conglomerate, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Store Officer to join our team in Oyigbo, Port Harcourt. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our high standards of operational excellence by managing inventory, ensuring stock accuracy, and supporting our daily business activities.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming shipments against delivery notes or purchase orders to verify quantity, quality, and condition.
- Maintain accurate digital and manual records of stock movement, receipts, and issuances to ensure complete transparency.
- Track minimum and maximum stock thresholds, monitor expiration dates, and manage reorder points to prevent shortages.
- Distribute materials and goods efficiently to authorized departments and personnel based on approved requisition forms.
- Keep the storage facility clean, organized, and secure to prevent damage, loss, or potential workplace hazards.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with ledger balances during routine audits.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Store Officer, Inventory Clerk, or similar role within a structured organization.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
