About the Role
SIMS Nigeria Limited, a leading distributor of major electronic brands such as Samsung, Royal, Parsun, and Powermatic, is looking for a dedicated Store Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day store activities, ensuring the proper receipt, safe storage, documentation, issuance, and reconciliation of our inventory across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods and materials in accordance with purchase orders.
- Properly arrange, label, and store consumer electronics to ensure easy accessibility and safety.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all stock movements using ERP software and inventory management systems.
- Issue stock to authorized departments and branches based on approved requests.
- Prepare essential store documentation including Goods Received Notes and Store Issue Vouchers.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile physical stock with system records, and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement and warehouse teams.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies within the store premises.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or stores operations.
- Prior experience in a retail or consumer electronics environment will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning software.
- Strong numerical, record-keeping, and attention-to-detail skills.
