About the Role
SIMS Nigeria Limited, a leading distributor of top electronic brands such as Samsung, Royal, and Parsun, is looking for a dedicated Store Officer to join our dynamic operations team. With branches across major Nigerian cities, we pride ourselves on exceptional service delivery and operational excellence. We are seeking a highly organized professional to oversee daily store activities, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, documentation, and issuance of consumer electronics and inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods, ensuring alignment with approved purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements using enterprise resource planning software.
- Issue stock to authorized departments and branches based on approved requests.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and notify management when replenishment is required.
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, and safe storage of consumer electronics and home appliances.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
- Prepare comprehensive regular stock reports for management review.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or storekeeping.
- Prior experience in the retail or consumer electronics sector is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory or ERP systems.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail.
