About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy provider, dedicated to powering the lives of 1.8 billion people across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a proactive and organized Store Executive to join our expanding team in Takum, Taraba State, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will ensure that our local store operates at peak efficiency, meeting all performance targets in inventory management, customer service, and product repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, track, and manage inventory from the central warehouse while adhering strictly to FIFO standards.
- Maintain updated digital Goods Received and Goods Issued logs, stock cards, and conduct daily cycle counts.
- Perform basic technical checks and repairs on in-warranty returns, and consolidate faulty stock for disposal.
- Prepare accurate daily on-hand stock reports and manage spare parts re-orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized shop floor arranged by SKU and ensure a hazard-free repair workbench.
- Welcome walk-in customers, handle inquiries, and coordinate with Energy Officers and the Call Center to resolve issues.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role.
- Strong computer literacy with working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
- High level of integrity, flexibility, and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Prior knowledge of Sun King products and local territory familiarity in Taraba State will be an added advantage.
