About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited (UP), Nigeria's premier financial technology company founded in 1997, is seeking an experienced Head, Security Operations Center to safeguard our expanding digital financial ecosystem. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee enterprise security operations, ensure rigorous compliance with global payment standards, and drive our commitment to secure financial transactions across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive information security risk assessments for projects, applications, and new business technologies.
- Ensure continuous compliance with PCI, VISA CVP, MasterCard GVCP, and CUP PSP requirements.
- Establish and foster a robust risk culture while maintaining risks within the approved business appetite.
- Provide expert guidance on enterprise security architecture and technology tool selection.
- Develop high-performing team members to assume advanced managerial responsibilities.
- Communicate critical risk metrics to executive management and key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing information security operations or incident response within complex financial environments.
- Deep technical proficiency in IDS/IPS, EDR, malware analysis, NIST CSF, Unix/Linux, and TCP/IP networking.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent industry credentials.
