About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, designing, distributing, and financing modern solar home systems to millions of homes across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Store Executive to join our team in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing store operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting basic product repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service to support our mission of powering off-grid communities.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, track, and manage stock from the warehouse while strictly adhering to FIFO inventory standards.
- Maintain accurate online logs for Goods Received and Goods Issued, update stock cards, and conduct daily cycle counts.
- Perform monthly stock takes and manage spare parts inventory alongside re-order processes.
- Prepare daily stock-on-hand and issuance reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Take custody of repair tools, perform initial diagnostic checks on faulty units, and conduct basic repairs on in-warranty returns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment with proper SKU arrangement and workbench safety.
- Welcome walk-in customers, assess technical issues, verify warranty eligibility, and coordinate with the call center to resolve queries.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a relevant field.
- Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Demonstrated integrity, flexibility, and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local territory knowledge in Oyo will be an added advantage.
