About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, providing innovative power solutions to over 82 million people across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Store Executive to join our growing team in Ogbomosho, Oyo State. In this pivotal role, you will oversee inventory management, coordinate stock distributions, handle basic product repairs, and deliver exceptional customer service to support our mission of powering off-grid homes.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, track, and manage stock from the warehouse in adherence to FIFO standards and update stock cards regularly.
- Maintain accurate online Goods Received and Goods Issued logs and perform daily cycle counts and monthly stock takes.
- Receive faulty stock from the field, conduct basic technical checks and repairs for in-warranty returns, and consolidate units for disposal.
- Manage spare parts inventory, oversee tool kits, and prepare daily on-hand and issued stock reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain a tidy, well-organized shop floor arranged by SKU and ensure a safe, hazard-free repair workbench.
- Welcome walk-in customers, verify warranty eligibility, and coordinate with Energy Officers and the Call Center to resolve customer queries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in any related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related operational role.
- Strong computer literacy with working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Demonstrated high levels of integrity, proactiveness, and flexibility as a team player.
- Knowledge of Sun King products and familiarity with the Ogbomosho territory are distinct advantages.
