About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, providing reliable electricity to over 82 million customers across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated Store Executive to join our growing team in Makurdi, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our local inventory, supporting customer service operations, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inventory by receiving stock, dispatching items using FIFO standards, and maintaining up-to-date online Goods Received and Goods Issued logs.
- Perform daily cycle counts, conduct monthly stock takes, and manage all spare parts inventory and re-orders.
- Prepare accurate daily stock reports and monitor inventory for replacement and replenishment.
- Take custody of repair tools, perform basic checks on faulty units, and conduct basic repairs on in-warranty returns.
- Maintain a tidy shop floor arranged by SKU and ensure strict adherence to safety procedures at the workbench.
- Welcome walk-in customers, receive faulty components, verify warranty eligibility, and assist Energy Officers with customer queries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role.
- Strong computer literacy with working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer focus.
- High levels of integrity, flexibility, and a proactive attitude as a team player.
- Knowledge of Sun King products and local territory familiarity in Makurdi will be distinct advantages.
