About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading solar energy provider for off-grid homes, bringing clean and reliable power to over 82 million customers across more than 40 countries. We are currently looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Store Executive to join our dynamic team in Wudil, Kano, Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our local store and inventory operations run seamlessly, directly contributing to our mission of powering brighter lives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inventory levels by receiving stock from warehouses, keeping track of supplies, and issuing items adhering to FIFO standards.
- Perform daily cycle counts, maintain updated stock cards, and conduct comprehensive monthly stock takes.
- Log all Goods Received and Goods Issued accurately online and prepare daily on-hand stock reports for stakeholders.
- Handle repairs and spare parts management, including taking custody of repair tools, conducting basic troubleshooting on faulty units, and repairing in-warranty returns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, ensuring proper SKU arrangement and workbench safety.
- Welcome walk-in walk-in customers, assess warranty eligibility for faulty components, and coordinate with Energy Officers and the Call Center to resolve customer queries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related operational role.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
- High level of integrity, flexibility, and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local territory knowledge of Kano will be distinct advantages.
