About the Role

DP World is a leading global supply chain enabler, dedicated to making trade flow better across the globe. We are currently looking for a dynamic and analytical Fuel Supervisor to join our operations in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of fuel management across a fleet of over 500 trucks. You will play a pivotal part in real-time fuel monitoring, vendor management, and eliminating operational leakages to ensure maximum cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the real-time performance of fuel sensors and probes installed across the fleet to maintain high accuracy and functionality.
  • Verify fuel dispensing operations from company dumps, partner facilities, and third-party filling stations.
  • Validate fuel delivery and offloading records against system data and physical confirmations to prevent discrepancies.
  • Identify, investigate, and block potential leakages, unauthorized offloads, and shortchanging incidents within the fuel supply chain.
  • Liaise with third-party service providers to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and proper maintenance of monitoring systems.
  • Generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports on fuel usage, probe accuracy, and consumption trends.
  • Support internal audit processes with accurate records, data analytics, and actionable financial insights.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in fuel monitoring, fleet management, or inventory control.
  • In-depth understanding of fuel probe and sensor technology, telematics, and asset tracking systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and vendor relationship management abilities.
